Zarb
Whether it's losing your car keys or inventing a new sandwich, Zarb toasts to the trivial. Launched by THEY in 2008, it's a champagne brand built around the idea that not everything worth celebrating needs a reason. You can now find it in high-end clubs in Paris and LA — and some questionable establishments in Amsterdam.
Every year brings a new bottle series. In 2013 I creative directed the introduction of Zarb's new cuvée: Rosé Six3 de Saignée. An unconventional champagne that needed an unconventional release. Six coiffes, six sleeves, six labels: 216 unique bottle combinations in total. Every bottle different. Every bottle the same brand. C’est Bizarre.
The launch coincided with Colette's Sweet Sixteen. The legendary Paris concept store at the height of its cultural moment. A match that doesn't need explaining . <3
Zarb x Magnum
Two Dutch brands. One shared obsession with pleasure. When Magnum celebrated 25 years of indulgence, there was only one champagne that made sense as a collaborator. Amsterdam's own champagne for any occasion joined the party with a limited edition gold bottle, exclusively at de Bijenkorf. C’est Bizarre.
Zarb x Schiphol
Depicted in the style of an Old Dutch Master, Delft Blue has been the Dutch goodbye gift for centuries. So the airport was the obvious choice. A limited edition bottle sold exclusively at Schiphol; windmills taking off, champagne in hand. With Willem-Alexander & Maxima having received a few bottles too, we might just be self-proclaimed purveyor to the royal household. Again, C’est Bizarre.

Ivo is, without exaggeration, one of the greatest creative talents I know. Besides the fact that he always delivers for a 110 percent, he is an extremely loyal and social colleague.
